You may be like me – someone who likes to plan or perhaps you’re the opposite and you enjoy diving right into the activity. A planner says to plan first. The executor tackles the task. Whichever camp you’re in, are you suffering from your chicken and egg moment?
I know I have been. I’ve been challenged to identify and refresh myself – succumbing to fear and relegating myself to behind the scenes plans. “Put the funnel together first. Write my prospecting script. What nth degree of content will I need to invent or recreate? And then, and only then, will I have a suitable message to send out to my community.”
However, I’ve missed opportunities. I’ve also missed the engagement. The purpose, too, of this writing is to communicate – to send a message to the online stratosphere in the hopes of a two-way conversation. My ideal plan got in the way of this outreach. The marketing stayed within my mind without the social dialog that will aide my plan and fulfill my goals.

I’m reaching out now on this Day 2 of my Blog Challenge. I am asking for guidance and support not to fully “wing it”, but to trust in listening to my advocates. With a blank slate, I am urging myself to recreate myself into something that I may not have envisioned. Am I the chicken or the egg? Not sure yet, but I must cross the road (of life) to find the answer.
What are you challenged by?
